According to the reports from Diario AS, Real Madrid are keen to sign the PSG star and Uruguayan striker, Edinson Cavani.
Cavani had a prolific season last time up, scoring 40 goals across all competitions, just four fewer than the tally that Ronaldo amassed in his last season at Madrid.
Real Madrid were earlier heavily linked with both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, but reports suggest PSG have no desire to sell their young attacking duo. However, holding on to their 2 front-men means PSG need to offload some players in order to meet the Financial Fair Play regulations.
The Real Madrid officials are confident about bringing the Uruguayan striker to Madrid but the evaluation still stands as a major hurdle. Meanwhile Radio Marca have also linked the Spanish Giants to the potent Uruguayan forward, suggesting that Cavani could well be donning the white Madrid jersey next season if Perez and company are willing to shred in €60m.
