Anthony Martial’s future at Old Trafford has been doubted upon ever since the Frenchman was left out of the World Cup winning French squad. However, the ball is eventually in his court now as numerous clubs fight for the signature of the immensely talented youngster.
Anthony Martial’s contract at United comes to an end in 2019 but United do have an option to trigger the extension which will realistically see him being Manchester bound till 2020. The red side of Manchester is keen to keep hold of their young starlet who has seen some tough times since the turn of the year. Reports suggest that the French youngster has held talks with José Mourinho and is keen to retain his starting position, which has been under considerable threat ever since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.
Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in getting the signature of Martial as they see him as a replacement for the aging Ribery and Robben. On the other hand, Chelsea are likely to lose Eden Hazard sooner or later and are already plotting a move for the United winger who is seen as an ideal replacement for the phenomenal Belgian.
Neither Chelsea, nor Bayern are willing to match the €100m valuation of Manchester United for their forward. The Telegraph also suggests that the North London club, Tottenham Hotspur are also eager to add Martial to their arsenal. However, United are reluctant to sell their talented youngster to any English club and are most probably not going to entertain any interest from either of the clubs, i.e. Chelsea or Spurs.
