Manchester United are targeting Barcelona’s Yerry Mina in a hope of solidifying their back line before the beginning of the next season.
Jose Mourinho who is upset with the current lot of players, has already made sure that the world knows about it. Earlier this month, the United manager talked about how eagerly he wanted to make at least 2 additions before the season starts in order to bridge the 19 points gap that existed between the red devils and their arch rivals City last season.
Though United have been heavily linked with the likes of Toby Alderweireld and Harry Maguire but are worried about their valuations. Now according to the reports from Spain the United board are ready to offer €40m for the Colombian center back who had a rather impressive World Cup outing.
Yerry Mina has also been linked with a move to Merseyside throughout the summer, just 6 months after his arrival at the Camp Nou. The Colombian, however, is keen to move to a club participating in the UCL and would favour a move to Old Trafford rather than the Merseyside.
Reports also suggest that Barcelona and Yerry Mina are pretty much on the same page, i.e. the club is not willing to stop the Colombian defender who is eager to move away from the Camp Nou in order to earn a good amount of game time after making just 6 first team appearances for the Catalan club.
