News coming via Sky Italy confirms that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is no longer the manager of Blues.
Conte who joined Chelsea football club two seasons back guided his side to Premier League glory and domestic silverware. He won Premier League title in 2016-17 season, while claiming his hand on FA Cup trophy in the next year. But Italian who has been a center of debate since Chelsea’s below average season which saw them miss out on a top four finish and play unimpressive football in their Champions League campaign is all set to part his ways from the London club.
To further reinstate that, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis’ statement on Wednesday pointed at the inevitable, which read:
“Sarri is close to being new Chelsea manager. My lawyers are in talks with his lawyers to finalize everything.”
Now it’s only a matter of time when club officially announces the departure of Antonio Conte and signing of Sarri who had a great run with Napoli in Serie A.
